Kyoko began her ballet training at age four studying at the Beiko Matsuoka Ballet in Japan and also attended the Boston Ballet School and Orlando Ballet School as a trainee. She was as a finalist in the Tokyo Dance Competition in 1999 and 2000, and she won the silver medal in Japan at the Saitama All Japan Dance Competition in 2006. She was a finalist at the Seoul International Dance Competition in Korea. This is Kyoko’s fifth season with Orlando Ballet.
