Andrea began dancing at age three with Cristina Helena at the Sesiminas Ballet Institute. She studied with Cristina Helena, Pablo Moret and Joaquim Hans-Tappendorf in Germany in 2003. Ms. Faria has received multiple awards at ballet competitions in Brazil, Argentina, and France. Her repertoire includes Swanilda in Coppelia, Kitri and Cupid in Don Quixote, Myrtha and peasant-pas in Giselle and Medora in Le Corsaire as well as works by George Balanchine. This is Andrea’s second season with Orlando Ballet.
